Each Board members on our all-volunteer board leads an important function within our organization. Of course, they don’t do it alone. Board members have a team of FOLL members working with them on a regular or as-needed basis. Join our fun-loving, energetic group of volunteers whose work supports and promotes the Lincoln Public Library.
2027-2028 FOLL Board Nomination Form
FOLL is soliciting nominations for the FOLL Board of Directors. The term for each position is two years. Any current FOLL member may submit nominations. You can nominate yourself or another FOLL member. Please complete a separate form for each candidate and submit the nomination(s) by October 9, 2026.
We are currently accepting nominations for the following 2027-2028 Board positions:
Secretary – The Secretary records and distributes minutes of Board meetings, oversees the member voting process, and sends cards on behalf of FOLL.
Treasurer –The Treasurer maintains FOLL’s financial records, receives and disburses funds, assists in the preparation of the annual budget, and prepares required Federal and State reports.
Community Outreach Director –The Community Outreach Director identifies opportunities and arranges for FOLL presence at community and other events for the purpose of promoting the library and FOLL. The Director also attends community organizations’ meetings and arranges for print and other advertising of library and FOLL activities.
Grants Director – The Grants Director prepares and submits grant applications for funds to support Library programs and services. The Director also provided required reports to the grantors.
Membership Director – The Membership Director oversees the recruitment and retention of FOLL members which includes leading membership campaigns and providing applications and other materials for soliciting new members. The Director also oversees maintenance of member and donor records.
Social Media Director – The Social Director maintains the FOLL website and oversees social media postings.

Minimum Qualifications for Candidates: Member of FOLL at the time of nomination.
If you or the candidate are not a current member, you/candidate will need to submit a FOLL membership application with this nomination form.
